We Are Christiana

Our purpose is to promote and uphold school spirit, show the nature of true loyalty and good sportsmanship for Christiana Middle through a positive display of team support at all cheer events among students, and strive to build relationships in the community. Our program aims to work harmoniously with the administration, faculty, band, athletic teams, and all other school organizations.

About Us

Our cheerleading program offers the opportunity to cheer at football and basketball games and compete at the local, regional, and national levels. Our season is year-long and requires a huge commitment.

Basketball Cheer

Our basketball cheer team cheers at all basketball games. During this season, practices and games can occur up to three to four times weekly. The season approximately begins in October and ends in late January.

Football+ Competition Cheer

Our football and competition team cheer at all football games and compete in local and regional competitions. We attend the National High School Cheerleading Competition in Orlando, FL, upon receiving a bid. Due to the competitive nature of this team, competition cheer has a year-long season and a huge commitment.

NHSCC

Our competition cheer team competes in regional competitions to earn a bid to the National High School Cheerleading Competition. NHSCC is held in Orlando, Florida, every February. Christiana Middle cheer has attended several times, and it is always the goal to attend.
